Visitor counter + public log
The current public count began September 1, 2026; earlier test, automated, and uncertain rows are excluded. The counter assigns one cookie to each browser and filters obvious automated requests. New browsers are counted only after returning that cookie; browsers that block it are not added on every refresh. “Visiting now” is the approximate number of counted browsers seen during the last five minutes; it is not a count of individual people. “U.S. states reached” keeps a cumulative record of distinct U.S. states, excluding Washington, D.C. A later location update does not remove a previously recorded state. The visitor log preserves recorded approximate locations, including earlier places when a browser’s location changes. A browser counts once per location and once in the site total, so location counts should not be added together. Available city records and later location updates are preserved; older overwritten city records cannot be reconstructed from state-only history. “Countries reached” preserves distinct recorded country codes, including visitors who are not in a U.S. state. “Last visit” shows the most recent different counted browser with a usable approximate location, not the current visitor.
To supply an approximate location, the visitor’s current IP address is sent to IPWho.is. For U.S. visits, the approximate coordinates returned by IPWho.is may be sent to the U.S. Census Geocoder to determine the official metropolitan statistical area. This site stores the returned city, state, country, and Census metro code. It does not store the IP address or coordinates. The public visitor log groups browsers by approximate place and never displays a visitor ID, cookie value, IP address, coordinates, or metro code. Locations may be inaccurate when someone uses a VPN, mobile network, workplace network, or shared connection.

To limit repeated form submissions, the site uses request counters keyed by a daily rotating, hashed network identifier. Raw IP addresses are not saved in those counters, and the counters are not linked to visitor history or submitted messages. Expired counters are cleared when another submission arrives.

Private reader-activity totals
The site keeps daily aggregate counts of evidence-link opens, recording-link opens, native audio/video starts, flyer and graphic clicks, and copied section links. These totals are visible only to the site owner and are kept for up to 90 days. They contain public page paths and approved destinations, with no visitor IDs, IP addresses, location data, referrers, URL queries, or search terms. They are not connected to the visitor log. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. Actions are not counts of unique people or proof of completed downloads. Playback inside Google Drive cannot be confirmed by this site.

Evidence integrity
Records, recordings, quotations, and timestamps are presented for public review. Web copies may be compressed or privacy-redacted, but the site does not alter what a source says or depicts. The original agency record remains the controlling source.
