Report vs. Bodycam

PUT THEM NEXT TO EACH OTHER.

The bodycam and written report do not have to be interpreted separately. Compare what was said, who supplied it, and what the final narrative preserves.

Driver’s account

The report preserves the driver as saying Shubham was “touching her butt area and was trying to touch further into her private area.”

This is an example of specific information the report did preserve.

Female passenger summary

The working document says the paragraph summarizing the female passenger’s statement uses a buttocks description but does not preserve the same private-area progression or the explicit four-contact count.

Method: distinguish what the female passenger reported, what the driver reported, what Shubham said, what Bittony suggested, what the civilian supplied, and what the report ultimately attributes to each person.
